My Story
Chris Oliver: A Lifelong Passion for Mastering the Trades
For over four decades, Chris Oliver has pursued a relentless passion for learning and mastering multiple trades. Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, he was introduced to the world of HVAC and electrical work early on when his family moved to Florida and built one of the nation’s largest HVAC companies. This formative experience sparked his curiosity and drive to understand the intricacies of the trade.
As a teenager, Chris moved with his family to North Carolina, where they expanded their business. Rather than limiting himself to one specialty, he developed a deep interest in all trades, eager to expand his knowledge beyond HVAC and electrical work. After marrying, Chris returned to Chattanooga with a vision—to create a company that integrated all trades seamlessly. This goal fueled his determination to earn professional certifications across multiple disciplines.
Starting with a handyman service in Chattanooga, Chris leveraged his early exposure to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and construction, combining hands-on experience with an unwavering commitment to excellence. His dedication paid off—within just three years, he earned every major trade certification, a feat that set him apart in Tennessee. Today, he stands among the very few in the United States to achieve such a comprehensive mastery of the trades.
Now, just as his parents did before him, Chris is passing down his expertise to the next generation, bringing four of his teenage children into the trades. His story is a testament to passion, perseverance, and an unyielding commitment to lifelong learning—one that continues through the legacy he is building with his family.
With his extensive knowledge and dedication to craftsmanship, Chris took the next step in his journey by founding Chattanooga Master Craft Contractors LLC—a company built on the principles of excellence, integrity, and a deep respect for the trades. Through this endeavor, he continues to raise industry standards and inspire future generations of skilled professionals.
